With capacity for 25 residents, Red House is large enough to provide a stimulating social mix, whilst avoiding the institutional character of larger homes. Our outstanding facilities include a beauty therapy and hairdressing salon. Accommodation is mostly en suite, with some rooms enjoying balconies and splendid views onto Dartmoor. We pride ourselves on our excellent menus, providing tasty and nutritious meals for residents.

At Red House, we are proud to provide long-term care, respite care and convalescence, as well as day care and a lunch club. Our aim is for everyone at Red House to be free to be themselves and we enjoy an active social calendar, which includes the local community. We also offer activities and services such as weekly outings in the home’s own minibus, as well as a “friends of” group.
